Gemar Day Lands in Croatia: A Creative Milestone in Split
On March 20th, Gemar proudly marked an important milestone with the first-ever Gemar Day in Croatia, hosted by our partner Nebula in the vibrant city of Split.
Leading the day was Vincenzo Musto, who delivered two engaging sessions carefully designed to be accessible yet inspiring for all participants. His approach allowed everyone to work side by side while gaining practical, hands-on knowledge.
One of the highlights of the day was the creation of a striking balloon mural. Participants explored a versatile technique that enables the construction of a wide variety of shapes and figures with greater ease and efficiency. This method, already showcased on Gemar Creator, proved to be both intuitive and highly adaptable, opening up new creative possibilities for decorators.
Following the main build, the focus shifted to refining details—an essential step in elevating balloon designs from good to truly impactful. This phase allowed attendees to deepen their understanding of finishing techniques and the importance of precision in professional work.
The event also served as a perfect stage to introduce and experiment with the new Marshmallow colour palette. Its soft, seasonal tones were met with great enthusiasm, thanks to their natural alignment with spring themes and upcoming festivities. Participants immediately recognized its versatility and potential for both elegant and playful designs.
The success of this first Croatian Gemar Day confirms the growing interest in high-quality balloon artistry in the region and highlights the value of sharing techniques and innovation through hands-on experiences.
