On 9th July, driving the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 for the entire two hours, Tommaso Mosca and Giancarlo Fisichella of Scuderia Baldini, after their debut victory at Pergusa, repeated their success in the Endurance round of the Italian GT Championship at Mugello, crossing the finish line first and thus launching themselves at the top of the overall standings.<\/p>\n
The two former Ferrari drivers of the F1 World Championship Tommaso Mosca and Giancarlo Fisichella, beloved by fans, lined up with the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020, proudly sponsored by Gemar.<\/p>\n
We figure as a strong partner of the Scuderia Baldini 27 Network supporting the team and drivers during the 2022 Italian GT Championship.<\/p>\n
A victory that was anything but easy, marked by several difficulties, but masterfully constructed since the official practice sessions that saw the Italian pair of Scuderia Baldini dominate the three sessions, thus earning the pole position that allowed Mosca to maintain the lead in the first stint ahead of Guzman.<\/p>\n
All the twists and turns in the first hour of the race. Mosca and Raul Guzman, the Italian couple\u2019s direct opponent in the championship, set the pace with the Ferrari which didn\u2019t seem to be able to detach the Lamborghini. But after just 27 minutes of racing, in a lap, Guzman touches his brand mate Luciano Linossi and ends up in the gravel.<\/p>\n
This is why the safety car comes in and the driver change is postponed. However, Mosca did not notice the communication and returned to the pit lane without being able to stop to hand over the wheel to Fisichella. He returns to the track in fifth position, but after a while the two BMWs in front of him collide and open the way for the driver from Brescia who at this point seems to have fewer opponents to beat. After the driver change, Fisichella regained the lead of the race.<\/p>\n
At the second mandatory pit stop, Mosca is back on the road for the last part. His Ferrari came out of the pits in second position and retook the lead with nine laps to go.<\/p>\n
The Gt endurance is now taking a break and will return to compete on the Brianza circuit on 17 September.<\/p>\n
