Gemar Day in Lisbon: A Magical Journey Through Color and Imagination

On June 4th, 2025, Lisbon transformed into a world of wonder as it welcomed Gemar Day, hosted by our fantastic partner Codi Postal. Balloon lovers and professionals from across Portugal  gathered to celebrate creativity, explore new techniques, and experience the pure joy of balloon art.

This edition of Gemar Day was nothing short of enchanting. Inspired by the theme of a magical world, the event was filled with rainbows, whimsical trees, and delicate flowers—all brought to life through the incredible talent and vision of our expert instructors: Irina and Vincenzo.

✨ Irina: Balloon Flowers and Fantasy Trees

Irina led attendees on a creative adventure into nature’s beauty with a session dedicated to balloon florals and imaginative tree structures. Under her guidance, participants learned how to craft graceful flower arrangements and stylized trees that looked like they stepped out of a storybook. With an emphasis on elegance and detail, Irina once again proved how balloon art can be a refined and expressive form of storytelling.

🌈 Vincenzo: Rainbow Magic and Gemar Creator

Vincenzo added a burst of color and innovation with his rainbow-themed session. Participants learned how to build vibrant balloon rainbows that added a dynamic, cheerful touch to any display. He also integrated elements of twisting design to enrich the fantasy world theme with delicate butterflies.

As always, Vincenzo also led a session on Gemar Creator, showcasing how this digital tool can help artists plan, design, and build their balloon structures with greater precision and creativity. From idea to installation, the software continues to be an essential resource for professionals looking to push their craft further.
