GemarDayLive Balloon Party Lecce
We started 2021 in style with the first GemarDay Live of the year, held on January 19th and 20th. Organised with our Italian partner, Balloon Party Lecce, the event was a huge success.
Gemar Master Cristian was joined by Irina, one of our Ambassadors, to share some balloon secrets. Together they made sculptures that ranged from tiny apples to beautiful seascapes, and a tree full of cheeky jungle animals. Participants used their balloon kits to create their own versions, and the results are wonderful. We love to see photographs of beautiful sculptures being made and enjoyed at home and in shops near and far!
In person events are fantastic, but numbers have to be restricted. With online events we can share our passion with so many more people, and they all get a front row seat! We had hundreds of registrations and awarded over 400 certificates of participation.
GemarDays have always been great fun events, a combination of party and training. GemarDay Lives are no different, we’ve just moved the fun online. Still, whenever you make a change it can be a little nerve wracking so we were thrilled when the results of our feedback survey came in. With 543 responses it’s wonderful that 100% said they enjoyed the topics of the workshops, and a huge 99.6% liked the online format.
